Jasper Clarke Osteopathy

An Osteopath with an adaptable skill set spanning multiple disciplines, Jasper (or Jaz as everybody knows him) is a specialist in supporting people with a wide range of conditions and an expert in the assessment of musculoskeletal (MSK) pain. His combination of Osteopathic techniques, manual therapy and exercise programs, can quickly and effectively help relieve work related aches and pains, longstanding pain or the discomfort caused by hard exercise as well has help in the recovery of injury.  He particularly enjoys working with sports related injuries especially where recovery has plateaued or someone is feeling stuck.

Jasper has a Masters degree in Osteopathy with post-graduate certificates in manual therapies including clinical massage, sports massage, dry needling and taping, he has completed several training courses on the biomechanics of the human body and researched the relationship between breathing and pain. As well as his nearly ten years in private practice he spent three years in an NHS hospital out-patients department as a senior clinician. During this time he trained and worked as a senior NHS physiotherapist equivalent, assessing and treating all MSK conditions from post-surgery rehab to serious spinal pathology and as a result jokingly refers to himself as a ‘Physiopath’.

Originally inspired to train in osteopathy following his own experience of chronic back pain and recovering from injuries sustained while BMXing and snowboarding Jasper has since helped professional dancers, gymnasts, climbers and elite-level cyclists return to sport through his combination of Osteopathy and exercise programming. He has a broad range of first hand experience of many adventure sports including Surfing, Climbing, Snowboarding and cycling.
